A couple of quick tips. Try to experiment with complementary or at least cool and warm colours to bring out the vibrancy in your paintings. I’ve used some purples/yellow and blue/orange in areas. The reflections were done wet-in-wet – just wet the ground with a light wash, wait for it a dry a little, then using a small brush, drop in some darker paint. They’ll hopefully melt in nicely but still have some structure.
